Our story

I am Sarah, a professional baker who came from France in 2017 and worked in Paris and New York. After two years of searching for the best baked goods recipes, I decided to start my own home micro-bakery offering both pickup in Greenpoint or delivery in the NYC area.

Even if my long-term wish is to have my own brick and mortar bakery, as a first step I am starting to sell baked goods directly from home. I really enjoy baking my own recipes and I want to share all my baked goods with everyone.

Why La Maison Tachon? Very simple, La Maison means the house but also home in French. A place where you get comfortable just like when you eat pastries, which are all homemade… and Tachon is my last name. Yep no big deal but it took me maybe 2 years deciding on that!
